The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ April 8, 1998, p. 16 Don L. Stringfellow of Lompoc, California, died March 19 in Lompoc. He was 80. Mr. Stringfellow was born July 10, 1917 in Malakoff, Texas. He was a former Wickenburg resident, living here with his wife from 1974-1980, when he was a deputy sheriff with the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Bea Stringfellow of Lompoc; daughter Lila Sue Stringfellow Zumwalt of Kent, Washington; sisters Maurine Crenshaw and Floye Hargis, both of Dallas, Texas; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services have been held.
