Kenneth E. "Kenny" Mott, 81, of Chandler, formerly of Munds Park, died March 23, 2011. He was born July 17, 1929, in Clovis, N.M.
He was the retired owner of a Union 76 service station. He was a U.S. Navy war veteran. He was a member of the Scottsdale Mounted Sheriff's Posse, U.S. Marshals Posse, Scottsdale Shrine (Masonic), Navajo County Hashknife Pony Express, and Iron Workers Union. He enjoyed his family, horses and making a difference in the lives of those who crossed his path.
Mr. Mott is survived by his wife, Polly Mott; daughters Paget Lucero (Benny) and Paula Eischen (Roger); sister Mona; brother Leon; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Kathy; sister Pat; and two grandchildren.
Visitation and services will be at Messinger Indian School. Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Valley.
