MOTT, Kenneth E. (Kenny)

Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Sunday, March 27, 2011 Kenneth E. "Kenny" Mott, 81, of Chandler, formerly of Munds Park, died March 23, 2011. He was born July 17, 1929, in Clovis, N.M. He was the retired owner of a Union 76 service station. He was a U.S. Navy war veteran. He was a member of the Scottsdale Mounted Sheriff's Posse, U.S. Marshals Posse, Scottsdale Shrine (Masonic), Navajo County Hashknife Pony Express, and Iron Workers Union. He enjoyed his family, horses and making a difference in the lives of those who crossed his path. Mr. Mott is survived by his wife, Polly Mott; daughters Paget Lucero (Benny) and Paula Eischen (Roger); sister Mona; brother Leon; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Kathy; sister Pat; and two grandchildren. Visitation and services will be at Messinger Indian School. Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Valley.
