The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, March 26, 2011 Byron Lee Carlson Byron passed over on March 11, 2011, in Phoenix, Ariz. He was born in Phoenix on June 17, 1950. He was a Vietnam veteran and was awarded a Purple Heart. He has lived in Prescott for the past 32 years, where he retired from Qwest Communications and was employed at Yavapai Fleet and Machine. He was preceded in death by his mother, Josephine. He is survived by his father Byron, his wife Mavis, son Jimmy, daughter Mary and grandson C.J. A gathering for family and friends will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, April 2, in the Pueblo at The Smoki Museum, 147 No. Arizona Ave., in Prescott. Information provided by survivors.
