Mrs. Lamontz C. Collins of Wickenburg, died May 20 in Wickenburg. She was 82. Mrs. Collins was born March 4, 1916 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She had lived in Arizona for the past six years.
She married Harmon B. Collins in 1941. She was Head Nurse of the Youth Department at Greenville Hospital in Greenville, Pennsylvania, retiring after 25 years of service. In 1992 Mrs. Collins moved to Arizona to live with her daughter.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Dian and Bill Valencic of Wickenburg; granddaughter Debbie Blunt of Wickenburg; grandson Chris Valencic of Wickenburg; and brothers Robert Bitzer of Brookfield, Ohio and Jack Bitzer of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her husband Harmon Collins; her son, Robert Collins; a brother, Harold Bitzer and a sister, Ester.
Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. today (Wednesday) in the Wickenburg Funeral Home chapel. Pastor Mike Abdollahzadeh will officiate. Burial will be in the Espyville Cemetery, Espyville, Pennsylvania.
