COOK, Jim Lawrence


The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ June 17, 1998, p. 14 Jim Lawrence Cook of Cottonwood, died June 8. He was 67. Mr. Cook was born in Sedona on November 15, 1930. He was a lifelong resident of Arizona. He was a horsetrader for 30 years in the Wickenburg area, working with the dude ranches in the area. Survivors include his step-mother, Florence Cook; sons Aubrey Cook of Virginia, Robbin Cook of Texas and James Cook, Denny Smith and Andy Smith, all of Arizona; daughters Shirley Orn of Texas, Lesa Milligan of Texas, and Cynthia Browning, Dora Cook and Tracy Medley, all of Arizona; two brothers, Jack cook and Jay Cook of Arizona; four sisters, Betty Rorabaugh of California, and Barbara Cook, Joyce Rose and Francis Duvall of Arizona; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandson, numerous nieces and nephews, and many relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred cook; his mother, Dora Bunger Cook; a brother, George Cook; and grandchildren Heather, David and Joseph. Services have been held.
