“To my husband of 56 years, Jess B., and to all my family and friends I have left behind, there is an open gate at the end of the road through which each must go. And there in light we cannot see Our Father claims His own. Beyond the gate, I have found happiness and rest, and there is comfort in the thought, that a loving God knows best. May God who has called me home and has granted me peace and rest, give each of you the strength and faith to say that He indeed knows best. I will always “Look at Us” until we are reunited with Him on that glorious day. I’ll be waiting…”
Mrs. Fisher is survived by her husband, Jess B. of Salome; a son, Eugene M. Fisher of Parker; a daughter, Geraldine K. Izzo of Salome; four grandchildren, Eugene M. Fisher, Gabriel L. Izzo III, Jess B. Izzo and Stephanie Leivas; two great-grandchildren, Stacie and Justin Leivas; a sister, Mary Peters of Moore, Oklahoma; and a brother, Ernest Hutcheson of Palm Bay, Florida.
