Clifton D. Butler of Salome, died July 1 in Salome.  He was 89.  Mr. Butler was born August 27, 1908 in Fulton County, Illinois.  He had lived in Arizona for the past 28 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Amy Anderson of Panorama City, California; and a son, James E. Butler of California.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine, in 1996.

Private memorial services will be held.
