Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from March 25 to April 1, 2011 - Lee Roy Cooper, Sr., age 73, a 23-year resident of Bullhead City, died Friday, March 18, 2011, in Bullhead City, Ariz. Lee was born March 30, 1937, in McDermott, Ohio. He served in the U.S. Army and retired with an honorable discharge. Lee was very active with the Trinity Baptist Church of Bullhead City. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Fred, John and Melvie Cooper. Lee is survived by his wife of 50+ years, Bettie; three daughters, Linda Sanicola of Newport Beach, Calif, Gayle Cooper West of Anadarko, Okla., and Patty Bouck of Elko, Nev.; seven sons, Lee Roy Cooper, Jr. of Bullhead City, Ariz., Edward Cooper of Lancaster, Calif., Patrick Cooper of Fort Mohave, Ariz., Fred Cooper of San Diego, Calif., Jeremiah Cooper of Nampa, Idaho, Jeff Cooper of Los Angeles, Calif., and Lonnie Cooper of San Diego, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2011, at Trinity Baptist Church, 1941 Havasupai Dr., Bullhead City.
