FLUITT, Ralph L.

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ August 12, 1998, p. 12 & August 19, p. 14 Ralph L. Fluitt of Wickenburg died August 8. He was 72. Mr. Fluitt was born June 9, 1926 in Gross Point, Michigan. He had served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and was a member of the BPO Elks for 43 years, including present membership in the Wickenburg Lodge No. 2160. During 1997-98 he served as P.E.R. and was currently serving as Treasurer. Ralph was an accomplished pilot and enjoyed gardening and playing the piano. As a friend, husband, father and grandfather, he will be missed. Mr. Fluitt is survived by his wife, Frances; children Diane O’Connell and Danny Fluitt; and step-children Sharon Cuddihy, Kathy Silvio, Kay Meyers, Judie Nemarnik, Jacqueline Crabbe and Sandra Donath. Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 11 at the Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary, 6500 E. Bell Road, Phoenix, AZ 85254. Ralph was laid to rest at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road. Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary in Scottsdale handled all the arrangements.
