Charlie R. Rojas of Phoenix and a former Wickenburg resident, died August 18 in Boron, California. He was 22. Mr. Rojas was born January 13, 1976 in Wickenburg. He was a lifelong resident of Arizona.
In loving memory of Charlie, who has touched all our lives forever. What can you say about Charlie? Some of us grew up with him and some of us just started to get to know him, but in some way, he has made a mark in all of our lives. It’s impossible to believe that it was his time to leave us, knowing how much he loved life. Those of us that grew up with him know that he could be kind of a pain sometimes, but you just couldn’t stay mad at him. He was too important to us.
Charlie was very kind, proud and giving. He was loved by all and many of our lives will never be the same again. Charlie, there are many things that have been left unsaid and we hope that you hear them now. You are the greatest and we could not have asked for more. We love you. I know that we never really said it to each other, but we want you to know that you meant the world to us. We’ll never forget you or your goofy ways of making each of us laugh.
Survivors include his Dad, Rumkaldo, Jr., Mario N., Joseph P., his girlfriend Beverly, and many other relatives and friends.
Rosary was Friday, August 21 at the Wickenburg Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services were Saturday, August 22 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Fr. John Vogt officiated.
Brown’s Wickenburg Funeral Home handled all the arrangements.
