Edward L. Will of Congress died October 10 in Congress. He was 57. Mr. Will was born January 14, 1941 in Sandusky, Ohio. He had lived in Arizona for 15 years.
Mr. Will graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Sandusky in 1959. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and his Masters in Education and Administration from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.
From 1968-1978 he was the dean of Students at Sandusky. From 1983-1991, he was the assistant principal at Wickenburg High School. More recently, Mr. Will worked from 1993-1996 at the Congress Mine. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Wickenburg and the Weaver Mining District Organization in Congress.
Survivors include his mother Mary Will of Sandusky; sisters, Mrs. Robert (Carol Ann) Tacina of Brunswick, Ohio and Mrs. John (Christine) Hermack of Toms River, New Jersey; sons David, Joseph, Carl, Michael, Edward and Adam Will; daughters Lisa Fitzthum Marina Williford and Danielle Will; and 11 grandchildren. Mr. Will was preceded in death by his father Carl L. Will; paternal grandparents Karl F. and Regina Will and maternal grandparents Edward G. and Florence E. Windau.
Visitation is planned from noon to 9 p.m. Thursday, October 15 at Frey Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held at 10a.m. Friday, October 16 at the Good Shepherd of the Desert Church in Congress, with Father John Vogt officiating.
