Marie C. Sanders of Wickenburg, died October 24 in Wickenburg.  She was 97.  Mrs. Sanders was born July 5, 1901.  She had lived in Arizona for the past 56 years.

Survivors include her daughter, Marie Westerman of Wickenburg; son Boyd (Bud) Sanders of Phoenix; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a niece, Loraine Kennedy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Sanders.

Private services will be held at a later date.
