PORTIS, Rowe Elmer

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ November 4, 1998, p. 18 Rowe Elmer Portis of Hillside, died October 31 in Prescott. He was 75. Mr. Portis was born August 10, 1923 in Tempe and was a lifelong resident of Arizona. He was general manager of the E.J. Dickie Trucking Co. in Hillside for 45 years. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Beverly; sons Rowe E. Portis, Jr. and Richard Portis, both of Phoenix and three grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 7 at the Hassayampa Masonic Lodge No. 37 on Rose Lane in Wickenburg.
