Pat A. Sexton of Wickenburg died November 8, in Wickenburg. He was 66. Mr. Sexton was born March 13, 1932 in Denton, Texas and had lived in Arizona for 28 years.
Mr. Sexton was a member of the BPOE Lodge 2160, American Legion Kellis Draper Post 12, 40/8 and the Disabled American Veterans. He is current post Commander of Post 12 and Past Department Vice Commander. He also held the positions of: Judge Advocate and Legislative Committee Chair of Post 12, Post 12 Commander in 1986, District Vice Commander in 1987-1988 and District Commander in 1989-1990, member of the Department Executive Committee for three years, Legionnaire for 35 years, and has held all Post offices in Arizona and Nevada including District Vice Commander and Commander in Las Vegas, Nevada from 1964-1969.
Survivors include his wife Winnona of Wickenburg; mother Billie Sexton of Texas; daughters Donna Faye Nelson of Colorado and Christine Lisignoli of New Mexico; daughters and sons-in-law Tracy and Keith Tyner of Montana; and Carol and Terry Stevens of Arizona; sons Justin Shatto of Montana; sister Jean Burke of Texas; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Contributions may be made to the American Legion Kellis Draper Post 12 Children in youth Fund, 176 Frontier St., Wickenburg, AZ 85390.
Funeral services will b held Thursday, November 12 at 2:30 p.m. at the American Legion Kellis Draper Post 12, 176 Frontier St., in Wickenburg, with Harry Wineinger officiating.
Frey Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Wickenburg handled all the arrangements.
