The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, AZ Tuesday, March 29, 2011 Peggy Rowan (1939 - 2011) Peggy Rowan was born in Gallup, New Mexico, on October 19th, 1939. She passed away in Camp Verde, AZ on March 23rd, 2011. She married James Rowan on Oct. 7, 1968, in Gamerco, New Mexico. They moved to Flagstaff where she spent most of her life. She loved NASCAR and hockey. She is survived by her spouse James Rowan of Camp Verde, her daughter Christina Habecker of Warner Robins, Ga., her mother Rosalia Brown of Flagstaff, her brother Kenneth Brown of Flagstaff. She has six grandkids and eight great grandkids. She is preceded in death by her father Lewis Brown, brother Raymond Brown, sister Betty Marcell, daughter Linda Pierce and granddaughter Rosanne Zimmerman. Services will be Wednesday March 30th, 2011 at 11 a.m. At the Norvel Owens Mortuary, 914 E. Route 66, Flagstaff. A visitation will be held one hour prior to Funeral service.
