BERGNER, Richard Maurice

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ December 23, 1998, p. 16 Richard Maurice Bergner of Surprise, and a former resident of Wickenburg and Circle City for 20 years, went home to be with the Lord on December 17. He was 82. Richard, who was retired physician, was born May 20, 1916 in Newark, New Jersey. After growing up on the East Coast, he moved to Southern California. In 1976, he moved to Wickenburg. Mr. Bergner was a member of the Shepherd of the Valley Evangelical Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife Karla, son Douglas and daughter-in-law Debbie. At his request, no services were held. Contributions may be made to Sun Health Hospice Care Services and Residence, 12740 N. Plaza Del Rio Blvd., Peoria, AZ 85381 or to the Shepherd of the Valley Evangelical Lutheran church, 15005 W. Piana Trial, Surprise AZ 85374-4454. Best Funeral Service handled all arrangements.
