GRAY, Margueritte

Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, AZ Wednesday, March 30, 2011 Margueritte Gray, age 96, was a life long resident of Globe and passed away peacefully in Catalina, Ariz. She was born in Greensville, Texas to Charles and Avo Conner. Margueritte moved to Globe in 1935 from Grand Junction, Colo. with her husband, Walter. They were residents of Globe for many years. She worked for Lawrence Bailey, M.D. then worked for Cities Service as the insurance clerk and worked in that department until retirement. Margueritte is preceded in death by her husband, Walter B. Gray; her brother, Charles M. Conner; and her sister, Martha Jo Naeve. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Mathews of Tucson; Kermit of Gainesville, Fla; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Frances Carr of Camp Verde; a niece and nephews. She will be missed by her families and friends. Burial was held on Friday, March 4, 2011 at Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Mesa, Ariz.
