The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ January 19, 1984, p. 16 Ruby Meddles Memorial services were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Arizona Ruffner Funeral Home for Ruby M. Meddles, who died Jan. 12 at the Arizona Pioneer Home in Prescott. She was 96. She was Sept. 9, 1887, in Climax, Ohio, the daughter of David and Minnie Smith White. Meddles moved to Prescott from Dallas, Texas, in 1916, with her husband Herbert. He preceded her in death in 1964. They lived in Humboldt around 1918 to 1924 and also resided in Clarkdale and Winslow. Meddles moved to the Pioneer home 14 years ago, where of the Jehovah Witnesses Congregation. She is survived by two daughters, Minnie Lee, of Wickenburg, and Ruby Miller, of Prescott; 10 grandchildren and many great- and Great-great-grandchildren. Jack Walker was officiant at the service. Interment was at Mountain View Cemetery. Arizona Ruffner Funeral handled the arrangements.
