The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona April 1, 2011 5:00 am Joyce Yvonne White Joyce White, 72, of White Mountain Lake died March 28, 2011. She was born June 1, 1938, in Memphis Tenn. Joyce worked many years as a teacher’s aid helping disabled children. She enjoyed painting and especially finding surfaces to paint on not usually used for painting, which would be claimed by friends. Joyce is survived by two sons: Brice and David White; and their father Basil White of Calif.; sister Martha Johnson whom she lived with while here in the White Mountains and brother Glenn Austin. No formal services are planned at this time. Arrangements were handled by Silver Creek Mortuary in Taylor.
