The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Tuesday, July 1, 2003 Karl A. Steinert, age 83, of West Bend, WI, and Sun Land Village in Mesa, AZ., passed away Saturday June 28, 2003 at Cedar Community, West Bend. Karl was an active member of the Fifth Ave United Methodist Church in West Bend and Velda Rose United Methodist Church in Mesa, AZ. He is survived by his wife Evelyn. Five children; Susan (Dennis) Gray of Highland, IN., Chuck (Pam) Steinert of West Bend, Barbara (Patrick) Hayes of Green Bay, Tom (Tracy) Steinert of Spokane, WA., and Ann (John) Strupp of Dublin, OH. Eleven grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Masonic Services will be held on Wednesday July 2nd at 11:00 AM at the Fifth Ave. United Methodist Church, with Funeral Services immediately following. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Plymouth, WI. Memorials to the Velda Rose United Methodist Church are appreciated. The Myrhum - Patten Funeral & Cremation Service, of West Bend is assisting the family.
