YASKO, Richard (Bobcat)


The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Tuesday, July 1, 2003 Richard "Bobcat" Yasko died June 28, 2003 at Fort Whipple VA Center in Prescott, Arizona. He was born May 2, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Walter and Betty (Brown) Yasko. Richard was 60 years old. Richard proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Viet Nam War. Richard was a hard worker and had driven his own catering truck in Phoenix, for over 25 years prior to his retirement. He rose early every morning to ice and load his truck and then spent the day driving the busy streets with his last route being the car dealerships on Camelback Road. He loved to fish for bass; especially at Lake Pleasant or the family's pond in Mississippi. He was proudest of his second family; daughter Kathy and his grandchildren. Richard is survived by his wife, Patricia; daughters, Kathy Bullock, Kim Thompson and Kris Musarace; grandchildren Jessica and Justin. A Celebration of Richard's Life will be 2:00 pm Thursday, July 3, at Fort Whipple VA Chapel, Hwy 69. The family suggests memorials to the American Diabetes Assoc. P.O. Box 13141, Prescott, AZ 86304.
