FLEHARTY, Vincent Frank


Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ Published Saturday, April 2, 2011 - Vincent Frank Fleharty passed away on March 27, 2011, in Lake Havasu City at the age of 80. He was born to Frank and Eulalia (Beargeon) Fleharty on Dec. 25, 1930, in San Joaquin, Calif. Vincent graduated from high school in Arbuckle, Calif., before enlisting in the U.S. Navy and proudly serving his country in the Korean War. In 1958 he married Mary Ann Aune of Duluth, Minn. They lived and worked in the Duluth area from 1960 through 1996, moving in 1966 to Grand Rapids, Minn. in the summer and Lake Havasu City in the winter and in 2000 they moved here permanently. Vince enjoyed outdoor activities, and his hobby was lapidary (rockhounding), producing many beautiful rock specimens and jewelry. Vincent is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Ann Fleharty, of Lake Havasu City; half-brother Larry Farnsworth of Ohio, and nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church on Saturday April 9, 2011 at 10:30 AM with Pastor Jim Price officiating. The V.F.W. and American Legion will present military honors. Internnment will be at Mt.
