KARSGOR, Carl Kenneth


The Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ - Published om April 1, 2011- Carl Kenneth "Pop" Karsgor went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 27, 2011, in Las Vegas at age 66. He was born April 29, 1944, in San Pedro, Calif., to George C. and Barbara J. Karsgor. He lived in Monterey, Calif., where he met and married his wife of 32 years and moved to Mohave County in 1981. He held numerous positions in different companies, which included being the Pigeon Point Lighthouse keeper, Soledad Prison, Mohave County Jail and Gold River/River Palms Hotel Casino. He served our country in the U.S. Coast Guard and later became a member of the VFW. He moved to Golden Valley where his wife still resides. He was preceded in death by his father, George C. Karsgor, and survived by his wife, Diane Karsgor of Golden Valley; mother, Barbara J. Odegard of Kingman; brother, Erick and wife Colleen Karsgor of Canyon Lake, Calif.; sons, Carl and wife Mary Karsgor of Kingman and George and wife Julie Karsgor of Virginia Beach, Va.; daughter, Natasha and husband Craig Jackson of Toro Park, Calif.; as well as 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. Services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 2, at Praise Chapel, 419 Harrison St., Kingman.
