Local accident leaves 1 dead

A 19-year old Wickenburg woman died from injuries she sustained after falling off the back of a flatbed truck in the area of Vulture Mine Road on Sunday.

Maricopa County Sheriff's Department officials said Renee F. Fenno died at approximately 1:30 a.m., Tuesday, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, from injuries she sustained in that accident.

They reported a family member had been driving the vehicle and an investigation is continuing.
