The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ May 31, 1984, p. 17 Ameda Zuger Former Wickenburg winter resident Armeda Zuger, 74, of Walla Walla, Wash., died May 15 at St. Mary Medical center. Zuger was a local Winter resident until 1983 and a member ot the Duplicate bridge Club. Funeral services were May 17 at 11 a.m. in the Herring Funeral Home Chapel in Walla Walla with Rev. Vernon Smith officiating. Burial followed in the Elks Rest section of the Mountain View Cemetery. The family request that memorial contributions be made to the Waitsburg Historial Society, American Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice through the funeral home. Zuger was born May 9, 1910 in Flora, Ore., and married Henry Zuger on Sept. 29, 1930, in Yakima, Wash. She was an active duplicate bridge player earning life master status and her hobbies were collecting rocks and assembling pictures. She was preceded in death by her husband with whom she farmed wheat at a ranch in Waitsburg, Wash. He died in 1962. She is survived by one daughter, JoAnn Hansler, of Sunnyvale, Calif.; three brothers, William Holloway, of Walla Walla, Thomas Holloway, of Nampa, Idaho and Harold Holloway, of Sprague, Wash.; seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
