HALL, Simon Mills


The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ June 14, 1984, p. 18 Simon Mills Hall, 77, a Congress resident, died in his home on June 10. Hall was born on Aug. 29, 1906, in Burwell, Neb., and served in the United States Navy from 1942 until 1946. After being discharged from the service he returned to Shoshone, Idaho, and married Lula W. Hall. A farmer by trade, Hall retired and moved to Congress in 1980. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Wickenburg, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. He is survived by his wife, Lula W. Hall, of Congress; two sons, Ralph Hall, of Oak Ridge, Ore., and Robert G. Hall, of South Dakota; four daughters, Ruby Iris, of Wickenburg, Susan Sheridan, of Phoenix, Roberta Chinn, of Albuquerque and Hazel Rea, of Phoenix and one nephew. Gravesides services were conducted June 13 at the Wickenburg Cemetery with Rev. Bruce McQueen of the first Presbyterian Church officiating. The visitation was conducted in the Wickenburg Funeral Home Chapel on June 12.
