BILLINGSLEY, Kester J.

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ June 21, 1984, p. 18 Kester J. Billingsley, a former Wickenburg and area resident died June 17 in Sun City's Boswell Hospital. Billingley was born in 1891 in Wheeling, W. Va., and moved to Arizona in 1908 where he ranched and farmed for 50 years, North of Congress. Spending five years in Wickenburg after his retirement, Billingsley moved to Sun City in 1969. He was a member of Lakeview United Methodist Church. Billingsley is survived by three daughters, Fay Gaunt, Virginia Warner and Genevieve Sheeton and one son, R. E. “Bud” Billingsley. Visitation was at Lundberg Mortuary in Sun City from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., followed by a private service at Nell Forest Wright Chapel on June 20. The family requests that any contributions made be directed to Wickenburg Community Hospital in Billingsley's memory.
