The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ June 21, 1984, p. 18 Alex Rudy, 83, of Wickenburg, died June 14 at Wickenburg Community Hospital. Born July 5, 1900, in Schoenfield, Russia, U.S.S.R, Rudy had lived in Arizona for 60 years as an United States citizen. Moving to the U. S. in 1902, Rudy farmed in Wichita, Kan., and moved to Arizona where he retired as a miner from the Bagdad Copper Corporation 16 years ago. Since that time Rudy had lived in Wickenburg at his residence, 139 Cavaness St. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Rudy; one sister, Matilda Schlegel, of Tempe; four daughters, Geraldine Duncan, of Argyle, Texas; Doris Brockway, of Concho, Vivian Dillard, of Wickenburg and Jacqueline Allen, of Congress; and three sons, James Rudy, of Golden Shores, William Daniel, of Hillside and Richard Daniel, of Boulder City. Services were conducted at the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Wickenburg at 9 a.m. on June 16 with Pastor Adam Lautenschlager officiating. Interment followed in Greenwood Memorial park, 2300 W. Van Buren Ave., Phoenix, with a graveside committal accompanying.
