Stanley D. Whitaker, of Wickenburg, died July 12, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix.

Born in Republic, Wash., he moved to Arizona 12 years ago from California. Whitaker was employed by AiResearch until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife Elaine, of Wickenburg; one daughter, Carolyn Hamilton of Houston; two sisters living out of state and three granddaughters and two grandsons.

Mass was conducted July 14 at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, North Miller Road and Main Street in Scottsdale.

Interment followed in Paradise Memorial gardens in Scottsdale.
