The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ August 9, 1984, p. 12 Shirley Mae Staples, 59, of Wickenburg, died July 31 in her home at Country Club Park. Born Jan. 3, 1925, in Connecticut, Staples was a resident of Arizona for six years. She had worked for American Greeting Card company before retiring to Wickenburg. She is survived by her husband, William C. Staples and two brothers, Henry C. Oemen, of Meriden, Conn., and Eugene F. Oemen, of Mission Hills, Calif. The cremation and arrangements were made through the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
