The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ August 16, 1984, p. 14 Nickolas Evans, 73, of Wickenburg, died Aug. 11 in Wickenburg Community Hospital. Born Nov. 11, 1910 in Aliquippa, Pa., Evans is a retired carpenter who moved to Wickenburg 10 months ago from Washington. He is survived by his wife, Lucy M. Evans, of Wickenburg; three daughters, Maxine Gebhart, of Wickenburg, Della Lund, of Shelby, Mont., and Wilma Peterson, of Olympia, wash.; two sisters, Ella Messaros, of Littleton, Colo., and Mary Messaros of Seattle, Wash.; 10 grandchildren and nine-great-grandchildren. The cremation and arrangements were made through Wickenburg Funeral Home.
