Robert McChesney
Wickenburg mining consultant, Robert Davis McChesney, 70, died Aug. 12.
A retired chemist from New Guinea and a metallurgist with the space program, McChesney did volunteer work for both the Soroptimist International of Wickenburg and the Social Services Office. He was a substitute teacher in Wickenburg and was known by the local youth as “Mr. Mac.”
Born in Pennsylvania on April 4, 1914, McChesney is survived by one daughter, Judy R. Peterson, three brothers and one sister.
The cremation and arrangements were conducted by the Wickenburg Funeral Home and interment of the remains will be made at a later date in new Galilee, Pa.
