GEPHART, Robert Lee


The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ September 20, 1984, p. 18 Robert Lee Gephart, 42, of Congress, died Sept. 7 as the result of a tragic fire caused when his truck exploded, trapping him inside in Sun Valley, Calif. Born Nov. 15, 1941, in Carmichaels, Pa., Gephart was a truck driver for Riley Whittle, Inc. and a Vietnam veteran with service in the U. S. Army from December of 1959 to March of 1962. A resident of Arizona for nine years, he married Brenda Joyce on Sept. 24, 1976, in Congress, where they made their home at the Arrowhead Trailer Park. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Gephart, of Congress, and their six-year-old son, Robert Thomas Gephart; his mother, Isa Mae Wasnik, of Wickenburg, and 13 brothers and sisters, all living in Pennsylvania. Services were Monday in the Wickenburg funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bert Follmar of the Wickenburg's Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Interment followed in the Congress Cemetery.
