CRAYNE, Benjamin


The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ November 1, 1984, p. 20 Benjamin Crayne, 58, died Oct. 19, in Bagdad. He was born May 16, 1926 in Buena, Wash., the son of Benjamin O. and Hazel (George) Crayne. Crayne moved to Wickenburg in 1956 from Jacksonville, Fla. He moved to Bagdad in 1974 and was employed by Cyprus Bagdad Mine as an electrician. Crayne was a U. S. navy veteran of World War II and the Korea War. He was a member of the Charleston Masonic Lodge No. 279, Bremerton, Wash. Survivors include his wife, Helen, of Bagdad; two sons, James, of Bagdad and Richard, U. S. Navy stationed in Jacksonville, Fla., and a sister, Bonnie Robinson, of Bremerton. Memorial graveside services were at 2 p.m. Oct. 25 at the Mountain Views Cemetery, Willow Creek Road, Prescott. Reverend John Davis of the Christian Life Assemble of Bagdad officiated. If desired, contributions may be made to the American heart Association. Arrangements were by the Arizona Ruffner Funeral Home, Prescott.
