George DeWitt Dillard, 67, of Wickenburg, died Dec. 23 in Manhattan, Nev.
Dillard was born May 7, 1919 in Carizozo, N.M. he began his education in 1927 attending Menlo Park School in Tucson. He graduated in 1932 from Glendale.
Dillard was skilled in machinery and worked as a mine hoist engineer throughout Arizona and Nevada. He was an Arizona resident much of his life.
Survivors include one son, John; three daughters, Bettie, Joyce (Joy) and Sharron; three sisters, Ella Barrick, Vivian Walker and Francis Pfeil, all of Wickenburg, Jack, of Williams and Clifford, of Bullhead City.
Services will be Dec. 29 at 10 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. There will be no public viewing. Bishop Alvin Hancock will officiate at the service. Interment will be in the Wickenburg Cemetery to place him near his parents. Wickenburg Funeral Home is making arrangements.
