The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ January 13, 1999, p. 18 Jack R. Barnes of New River died January 5. He was 58. Mr. Barnes was born in Oxford, New York. He was a 1958 graduate of Wickenburg High School. Mr. Barnes had been an Arizona livestock officer in the 1970s and 1980s and had admired the late local cowboys Everett Bowman and Toots Mansfield. He was a Vietnam War Marine Corps veteran. Survivors include his wife Carol; daughter Nelda John; step-daughter Krist Olkowski; step-son Dustin Hoffman; and two grandchildren.
