The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ January 13, 1999, p. 18 Maxine J. Pfeifer of Wickenburg died January 9 in Sun City West. She was 78. Mrs. Pfeifer was born September 2, 1920 in Dent County, Missouri. She had lived in Arizona for the past 10 years, coming from Florida. Survivors include her brother, Charles Brewer of Wickenburg; and sisters Georgia Kobylinski of St. Louis, Missouri, Betty Babbit of Florida and Louise Carty of Wickenburg. Services will be at 3 p.m. today, Wednesday, January 13 at Frey Funeral Home. Pastor James Longstreet will officiate. Burial will follow in Missouri.
