Mildred “Milly” I. Martin of Wickenburg died January 14 in Wickenburg. She was 76. Mrs. Martin was born September 19, 1922 in Macks Creek, Missouri and had lived in Arizona for four years.
Mrs. Martin had been a loving wife of 57 years. She has left a special kind of aura in the house where her husband Ed abides, for it has so many memories of his loved one by his side.
Now that Milly has left this Earth to be in a better land, we know God is near Ed and all those left behind. Whenever any of you are troubled, stop awhile to pray. God will listen to your heartaches and will always show you the better way to solve our many problems we humans have to bear and will always send to each of you fond memories so that you may know how much He cares.
Survivors include her husband Edmund B. Martin of Wickenburg; daughters Edwina Hawkins of Modesto, California and Victoria Ferriera of Oakdale, California; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 16 at the Wickenburg Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday, January 20) at 11 a.m. at the Lakewood Memorial Funeral Home in Hughson, California. Interment is at the Lakewood Memorial Park.
Brown’s Wickenburg Funeral Home handled the local arrangements.
