The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ March 10, 1999, p. 16 Darby C. “Tex” Crawford of Congress, died March 4 in Congress. He was 80. Mr. Crawford was born November 7, 1918 in Wheat Basin, Montana. He had lived in Arizona for the past five months, coming from Oregon. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn, of Congress; a daughter, Connie Waldo of Hamilton, Montana; a son, Ken Smith of Olympia, Washington; two sisters, Vivian Clayton of Butte, Montana and Connie Edgar of Billings, Montana; and three grandchildren. Services have been held.
