HAURI, John F.

John F. Hauri, 74, of Surprise, Arizona, died on January 16, 2004 of heart disease. He was preceded in death by a son, David and grandson, Ryan Walker. He is survived by his wife, Joan, and stepsons: Robert Walker and his wife, Linda; Douglas Walker and his wife, Debbie; Steven Walker. Survivors also include grandchildren: Andrew Walker and his wife, Andrea; Eric Walker; Matthew Walker; Christopher Walker; Katie Walker. John was born February 8, 1929 in Madison, Wisconsin. He spent most of his life in the midwest, working as a food broker in Omaha, Nebraska; Des Moines, Iowa; and Kansas City, Kansas. During his retirement years, John shared his professional expertise by volunteering his time to help small business owners. To his family and many friends, John will be remembered for his generous nature, sense of humor, and love of golf. A memorial service was held Wednesday, January 21, 2004 at Camino Del Sol Funeral Chapel, 13738 West Camino Del Sol, Sun City West, Arizona.
