Walter L. Knapp, age 76, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully at home on January 17, 2004. Wally is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Joan; daughter, Debbie Danboise and husband Scott, Pam Dangel and husband Bob, Karrie Schroeder and husband John, son Greg Knapp; sisters Barbara, Donna and Beverly. Walt and Joan's grandchildren Sam, Luke, Emily, Abby, Drew, Margaret and Hannah will dearly miss their "Papou." Walter was owner of Georgia Flush Door Sales, Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia for a successful 30 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and a man of his word. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower Street, Phoenix, AZ 85014. A memorial mass celebrating his life was held on Wednesday, January 21, 2004 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 10815 N. 84th Street, Scottsdale, AZ.
