CARLSON, Kenneth

Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Tuesday, April 05, 2011 Kenneth Carlson died on Sunday, April 3, 2011, surrounded by his family. Mr. Carlson honorably served his country with the U.S. Army in the Korean War from 1945 to 1947. He was a longtime member of the Winslow First Christian Church until his illness would not allow him to leave the house. He is survived by his sons, Howard, Gary and Michael Carlson; daughters Annie and Susie Carlson; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lorraine. A service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday at the First Christian Church. Graveside services will follow at Desert View Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest next to his loving wife, Lorraine.
