Carla Frances Judy of Wickenburg died April 7 in Wickenburg. She was 83. Mrs. Judy was born October 17, 1915 in Alvin, Texas and had lived in Arizona for two years.
She enjoyed travelling, going to Europe in 1970; Hawaii in 1971; and Washington, D.C. in 1972. Other sites visited were: the Caribbean Islands, Panama Canal, and steamboat cruises on the Mississippi River that took them to various different states while the Judys enjoyed the sights.
Mrs. Judy was past president of the El Cajon Lioness Club, a member of the Eastern Star of San Diego Lodge 35, and was very active in overseeing the Organization of Job’s Daughters. She enjoyed doing ceramics, painting and many other crafts throughout her life. She will be missed and always loved and remembered by her family and the friends she has made along the way.
Survivors include her husband C. Hamilton of Wickenburg; daughters and sons-in-law Jean and James Reese of Yarnell, and Sharon and Robert Ball of Yarnell; granddaughter Carilyn Holliday; and step-grandchildren Jill Pionciotti and Jeff Reese.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 13 at the Genung Memorial Park in Peeples Valley, Arizona and interment is at the Genung Memorial Cemetery.
Brown’s Wickenburg Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
