Fred W. Genung of Chino Valley and a member of a pioneer family in 
Yavapai County, died April 5 at the VA Medical Center in Prescott.  
He was 81.  Mr. Genung was born November 13, 1917 in Humboldt.  He 
was a lifetime resident of Arizona.  

Survivors include two sisters, Grace Genung Moore of Kingman and 
Jean Green of Chino Valley; a niece, Jeanne Moore Stryker of 
Kingman; a great niece great nephew, two great-great nieces, and 
four great-great nephews.

Private services have been held.
