MYERS, Donald Linden


The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, November 12, 2008 Donald Linden Myers passed away on Nov. 9, 2008, at his residence in Prescott Valley, Ariz. He was born on May 24, 1950, in Oakland, Calif., to Roy and Lola (Smith) Myers. Donald is survived by his wife, Chavall; four sons, Jason (Nikki) Myers of Jacksonville, N.C.; Donald L. (Aly) Myers Jr. of Columbia, S.C.; Mark Myers of Columbia, S.C.; and Jonathan Myers of Jacksonville, N.C.; one stepson, Joseph (Jennie) Beck of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; one stepdaughter, Cassondra Wilmoth, of Bismarck, N.D.; one brother, Robert Leland Myers, of Korea; and 12 grandchildren: Justin, Jacob, Joshua, Aubrey, Alexandria, Ashton, Cameron, Sean, Andrew, Ava-Patricia, Caleb and Madisyn. Donald's hobbies included trap shooting, riding his Harley and bowling. He was most proud of his sons and children and being a marine. He retired as a 1st Sgt. from the U.S. Marine Corps. A memorial service will be Nov. 15, 2008, at 2 p.m. at the VA Chapel, 500 N. Hwy 89, Prescott. A celebration of life will follow the service at Antelope Lanes Bowling Alley, 6301 E. 2nd St., in Prescott Valley. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
