The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ May 12, 1999, p. 14 Ava Wilson of Wickenburg, died May 6 in Wickenburg. She was 77. Mrs. Wilson was born August 14, 1921 in Leaksville, North Carolina. She had lived in Arizona for the past 45 years. Survivors include two sons, Mike Wilson of Las Vegas, Nevada and Larry Wilson of Phoenix; a daughter, Joni Ashton of Maricopa; two brothers, Carl Bryant and Bill Bryant; seven grandchildren, Shaw, Angela, Shane, D.J. Danny, Rachel and Cody; and five great-grandchildren, Cody, Robert, Sarah, Brihonna and Jasmine. She was preceded in death by her husband, James N. Wilson and infant son David; and also by two sisters and one brother. Private services have been held.
