CHAPMAN, Genevieve Marie

Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, AZ Wednesday, April 06, 2011 Genevieve Marie Chapman, age 90 of Miami, passed away Monday, March 28, 2011, at Heritage Health Care Center. She was born in Hannibal, Wis. on Aug. 27, 1920, the daughter of Ruth Naomi (Smith) and Harvey A. Saylor. Genevieve loved gardening, crocheting, knitting and cooking. She was also an avid reader, and she enjoyed listening to music. Most important to her was her family, and she cherished each and every one of them. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Genevieve Marie Chapman leaves behind in loving memory, sons, Randy D. Chapman of Globe, Ariz. and Ronald J. Chapman of Miami, Ariz.; daughters, Lacey L. Oviedo of Claypool, Ariz. and Janice M. Sãenz of Globe, Ariz.; and sister, Alyce Berglund of Seattle, Wash. Genevieve also leaves behind in loving memory 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Chapman; son, Robert M. Chapman; and her parents. Private family services were held for Genevieve Marie Chapman. She was laid to rest with her late husband, John W. Chapman. Funeral arrangements for Genevieve Marie Chapman were entrusted to Miles Funeral Services Miami.
