Show Low, Arizona ~ April 8, 2011
William Gillam, friend of and to many on the Mountain, passed to be with his higher power, Friday morning April 1, 2011, at Summit Healthcare Medical Center.
Known to his family as Bill, he was a caring and gentle man. Early in his adult life, William began struggles with multiple illnesses. Many he overcame.
During recent years he worked as a patient with his doctors and hospital staff as they became professionally warmed to him and provided care as his health declined. William was intent and strong as he managed his illnesses. He was an honest, frugal, caring and a man of integrity.
He is survived by his mother; sister Cathy in Ill.; brothers, sisters, sons and his ever-loved dog, Tipper.
His many friends are invited to celebrate the most successful and warming years of William's life by mailing cards, letters, memories and thoughts to his mother, Mrs. Etta Bargman, 111 West State Street, #1213, Rockford, Ill. 601101. "William you are missed."
