Clarence B. Mathis of Wickenburg died October 26 in Wickenburg.  He was 79.  Mr. Mathis was born June 4, 1920 in Boswell, Oklahoma.  He had lived in Arizona for the past 64 years.

He is survived by his wife, Althea M. (Reems) Mathis; son Dennis A. Mathis of Peoria; sisters Dovie Reems of Surprise and Patricia Moran of Yarnell; brothers Carl Mathis of Surprise, Jack Mathis of Surprise, Robert Mathis of Congress and Herbert Mathis of Congress; grandchildren Dennis Mathis II, Kevin Mathis and Shannon Mathis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services have been held.
