He had lived in Arizona for the past nine years. Survivors include his wife, Rachel A. Swinford of Wittmann; son and daughter-on-law Dennis and Diane Swinford of Aledo, Illinois; daughter and son-in-law Bonnie and Tom Proksch of Monmouth, III; daughters Gail Wuestenberg of Tempe, Susan Kammerman of Dayton, Ohio, Debra Peterson of Chandler, Sherry Swinford of Chandler and Sally Swinford of Tucson; brothers and sister-in-laws George and Katie Swinford of Ft. Wayne, Indiana and Robert and Shirley Swinford of Lafayette, Indiana; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Private services have been held.
